A house warming ceremony was organized at Blessed Sacrament Church, San Diego on July 21, 2016 by Jon Kirby the newly appointed pastor. Mostly all the members of San Diego district, many parishioners, parish and school staff attended the program. The administration of Blessed Sacrament Parish has been given to USW Province by the Diocese of San Diego recently and Jon Kirby is the first SVD there.
