Wordnet recently concluded the series on “Reasons to Believe Season 2” presented by Dr. Matthew Petrusek, PhD. It was an online program every other Friday which ran for the past five weeks at 7 PM. The program was watched live by many on YouTube and Facebook and was live streamed every other week in Spanish, which attracted a large number of followers from Latin America. Highlights included the question and answer sessions that followed the presentations. They are available on the Wordnet YouTube channel.
Our new program, “The Mission Minute News,” which highlights national and international Church affairs, is in its 7th episode and has gotten a lot of positive responses. It is presented once every two weeks by our team member, Sr. Jeanne Harris, OP, and lasts about forty-five minutes. We reserve a special segment in the program for our three US provinces and our wider Arnoldus Family. You can tune in on our streaming channel, WordNet TV, as well on YouTube and Facebook. Wordnet has begun offering a weekly adoration and benediction service, which is live streamed for from the studio, for 30 minutes, every Wednesday following the 11:00 AM Mass. During this time of great stress and restriction, we have found that these services are greatly appreciated as an opportunity to rest in peaceful silent prayer and meditation before the Blessed Sacrament.
