Youth Encounter 2015

The Youth Encounter 2015 took place on October10, Saturday at St. George Parish, Ontario. About 600 youth and the youth coordinators from the SVD parishes of San Bernardino Diocese took part in the event. The key note speakers were Rene Bondi and Augusto Valverde. Both the speakers inspired the youth with their life experiences. Leo Martinez of St. George Parish shared about the Grace of God. Fr. Anthony and the vocation team and the two SSpS sisters from Techny shared about religious and missionary life.
We thank Frs. Jesus Briones and Trung Mai for coordinating with the volunteers and coordinators. As the local hosts they did a great deal of work along with staff and volunteers to make the event a success. We also acknowledge the various responsibilities handled by the youth coordinators and youth representatives from our parishes. It surely was a success story of team work. We thank Bro. Steve Pardy and the wonderful team who tirelessly worked so hard to make it a great event. Thanks everyone for the wonderful participation and support.
