Our over-65ers at the Divine Word Residence in Riverside have finally gotten their first Moderna vaccinations. There are a few sore arms but only smiley faces. This is a great relief. Our situation at the Residence was worrisome because we have retirees and oldtimers living alongside more youthful confreres (in their 40s & 50s) who have jobs outside and are therefore always in and out. Of
course we all try to be careful but it only takes one mistake and we can all be infected. Only by the grace of God have we been saved from the disastrous infection rates that we’ve seen in so many other “homes.”
